Women and Familes

200 families are supported each year through our housing and advice services.

The Novas Scarman Group's women and family services work closely with agencies such as social services, mental health teams, child psychologists, housing departments and schools to provide tailored services to women, families and children.

Our work with families has been highly commended by the local authorities we work with. Services include providing women and families with access to intensive housing management services, supporting women, men and children escaping or still experiencing domestic violence, and providing a direct access hostel for single homeless women, many of whom are sleeping rough at the point of referral, or are at risk of being exploited by the sex industry.

Opportunities for customer involvement, volunteering, training and employment within the Group are available to people using our women and family services.
