Curators Crawley and Ali have created a contemporary art exhibition, which aims to showcase the work of newly practicing and early career artists who have graduated from art college within the last five years. The self-titled Up & Coming Exhibition will feature a wide variety of national and international aspiring artists selected from open submissions and showcasing the wealth of emerging talent that art colleges in this country produce.

Both curators have worked extensively within arts educational environments for a number of years and the show aims to give artists an opportunity to exhibit their work. The exhibition spans across all disciplines of fine art, including painting, video and installation. It will also include an Up & Coming education section with schoolchildren displaying their own work alongside artist’s pieces. Pupils from a variety of educational establishments will be involved. The event intends to introduce the most up and coming artists to a wider audience and to promote and to raise profile.
