Over 40 local artists and a number of local celebrities from Liverpool and the North West region have donated their artwork and their time to support breast cancer awareness and helping the Linda McCartney Centre in Liverpool, which provides specialist care for patients with breast cancer.

Working with the theme, ‘Pink’ the official colour associated with breast cancer awareness, artists have explored the colour using diverse shades and materials; creating paintings, sculptures and collages, which will be auctioned for sale as a silent auction and online. Proceeds will go towards improving treatments at the Linda McCartney Centre.

Breast cancer affects one in nine women a year. It doesn’t discriminate and will affect all races, ethnic minorities, groups, young, old and 1% of men. This exhibition will highlight the effect that this diagnosis has on the patients, their families and their loved ones.

The exhibition includes artwork from distinguished local artists Tracy Lewis, Anthony Brown and Alex Corina; and local celebrities include Dean Sullivan, Stan Boardman and Ricky Tomlinson.
