Support Us

The Novas Scarman Group is entering one of the most exciting times in its history. We are developing major new initiatives in London and Liverpool that will enable us to help the most disadvantaged make positive changes in their lives, improve their skills and gain employment. We will achieve this through support, social enterprise and the arts.

As an individual, if you feel you would like to donate your time, money or services to the Novas Scarman Group please contact us through the details provided below.

Novas Scarman is also seeking to develop mutually beneficial partnerships with the corporate and public sector and with small employers in the creative industries.

Novas Scarman has an excellent reputation for working with its customers to develop their employability skills and offering them traineeships enabling them to attain NVQs to at least Level 2 in Food and Drink Service, Housing and Health and Social Care. The trainees work in the Novas Scarman organisation and in our social enterprises, in particular Café Arlington.

If your organisation is in a position to offer one of our trainees employment please contact Christofi Christou, Training and Employment Coordinator, on 0207 424 3016.

An example of how Novas Scarman has been offered support recently is:

Fresh and Wild based in Camden supported Novas through a 5% day on 27th June. Previously some of their staff had volunteered at a Novas project.

Fresh & Wild is committed to stocking delicious food without artificial colourings, hydrogenated fat, flavourings, sweeteners or preservatives, and their philosophy of organic and ethical food mirrors that of Novas Scarman’s own Café Arlington.

Hello,

Just scanning your website, and extremely impressed by your organisation and initiatives.
I am organising an event in the memory of Margaret Simey; this lady may or not be familiar with you.

The main idea has been initially to give recognition to a person who was insrumental in uniting the various communities within the Toxteth area of Liverpool.
The date of this event is Sunday the 3rd of August,2008. A multi-cultural picnic, with the main emphesis on Sharing. Not simply food, arts, music, dance, philosophy of any school of thought. There is no funding for this event, just input from as many of the social networks within the area.

If your organisation can help in any way, in order to make this a community inclusion event with vigour, please contact me,

Many thanks,

Irene Campbell

Good afternoon,
One of our clients, a large international whitegoods company with a strong history has asked us to look into sponsorship / support opportunities within the charity sector. They previously supported Fashion Targets Breast Cancer for a number of years and liked the link to fashion.
We feel that a partnership with Novas would both provide them the link to fashion that they have previously pursued through the Rough Sleepers Enterprise, while offering a logical link between their homebased products and Novas' homebased background.
Please let me know if this is an opportunity that Novas might like to explore. Thank you for your time. Best wishes, alex.

Hi

I’m investigating how the organization I work for, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, might best give something back to the community.

Can you help? I’ve been through your website and I’m still not sure how it works. Do community groups register with you if they need help and you marry those activities with oragnizations offering help? Or is it up to us to identify activities and organize them independently?

Thanks

Annika
